Principal's Message

Jordan Parks graduated from Malone University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Childhood Education and earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University.

Mr. Parks began his educational career in 2007 at Lake Cable Elementary School. In 2014, he joined Sauder Elementary as a fifth-grade teacher and instructional coach. In this role, he provided professional development, instructional support, and coaching to teachers throughout the building and district. In 2020, he became a full-time instructional coach, serving both Amherst Elementary and Sauder Elementary. In 2025, he was appointed Dean of Students for Sauder and Strausser Elementary Schools. He currently serves as the principal of Sauder Elementary School.

Mr. Parks is a member of the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA) and is committed to lifelong learning through ongoing professional development and annual educational leadership conferences.

Mr. Parks resides in Jackson Township with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children. He is proud to serve the Jackson Local School District community and is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
